Suffering announced Pilgrims JMJ 2013

The JMJ 2013 enters its final stretch. Take place on Saturday and Sunday vigil Mass and farewell. It was a week of festivities, music, prayers, homilies of Pope historical Francisco, however, a lot of patience for the young pilgrims.

As expected, numerous organizational problems marked the event. Upon arrival to the city, the Pope has got stuck in a jam. Disruption in the delivery of kits, the accommodation of pilgrims, and this last Wednesday, the exchange field of faith Guaratiba to Copacabana Beach. I talked with my friend Leila, who lives in Rio de Janeiro and accompanied and helped countless young people to get away with some stolen.

I asked her a text giving his opinion on the infrastructure of the city to host major events. Following is the text:

"Rio has not passed even remotely, just awful. Fake Everything. Just today, we were at the bus stop with two groups of pilgrims and spent three empty buses and NO we almost stopped even playing in the street, Metro: does not flow, the attendants are grumpy, do not answer the questions on the pilgrims path or in Portuguese, grumpy.
Police hoping to be all wrong and their agents infiltrating breaks in the break not to investigate but also to break and disrupt. Transport system of foreign journalists: the bus driver was not driven by journalists, was a complete moron who even knew the heart of Rio and was lost or purposeful and meant that journalists lose their coverage of the Mass with the Pope young Argentines.
Much of the restaurants that have signed up to accept meal tickets pilgrims decided not to accept the tickets or even opened the doors. Great luck for the event was not a total failure is that young people are very tolerant, have incredible faith and the Pope is very charismatic.
I gave in to my house to host pilgrims until three days after the start of the week of WYD, the volunteers had failed to locate the young people who would be at home either by name or by email. Had residences with spots left and the lack of organization made the bastards of young people in this damned cold to stay in Rio doing staying in schools (classrooms) with only one shower for more than 300 young people, and above all, with only cold water. Anyway, absurd. "

Another example of disorganization happened even before the beginning of the event. The young city of Louveira traveled in the dark, because the organization did not report where they should stay. The answer just one day before the departure of the bus and after numerous phone calls to Rio de Janeiro.

As Leila said, the event not only toppled because young people were patient and took it all in "cool". Now I wonder if the same will happen with the World Cup? According to the Ministry of Tourism, the public will come to the games of the canopy is formed by men, adults, singles, and with money who like to have a few beers before, during and after games. Do these fans will have the same patience?
